An evening get-together with other local blogging types- take a bow, The Little Nomad, The Jady Brunch, The Rare Welsh Bit and Explore With Ed- with complimentary cocktails and free food. It’s a dirty job, etc etc. Hell, if a man who has cooked for Springsteen wants to cook for me, I won’t put up Read More
Anand George’s new lunchtime menu venture puts his recent foray into street food front and centre. Fresh from feeding the Street Food Circus hordes- up to 200 servings a (frenzied) hour, apparently- lunchtimes now see the concept extended to an in-house setting. We all enjoy a game of Bullsh*t Bingo, don’t we? Those interminable in-work meetings during which your last hope of clinging to sanity resides in ticking off those clichés as they dribble like effluent from the highest-paid person in the room. I write because I love it (and food, as indicated by my increasing girth). Greed happens to be my Deadly Sin of choice, but at least it is never shy of providing me with subject matter.Â
A simple thing, then: all you get is me wittering on semi-coherently about places I’ve eaten at; hence a ‘restaurant blog’ rather than a ‘food blog’, although there are a few recipes scattered throughout.Â
From mezze to Michelin ‘fine dining’ and all points in between.Â
